Rev. Randy Alston – Senior Pastor

Pastor Randy grew up in Matthews, NC. At the age of 14 he met the girl who would one day become his wife. Though Randy grew up with a ‘belief’ in Jesus, it wasn’t until he was 21 years old that he was born again into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, on October 6, 1998. Within a few months of his salvation he felt the call to pursue full time ministry.

Around this same time he proposed to Shannon, and they were married on May 20, 2000. Randy attended The College at Southeastern where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in May 2005. Pastor Randy and Shannon welcomed their first child, Abigail Grace, into the world on July 14, 2005. They welcomed their second child, Owen Daniel, on August 26, 2009. Pastor Randy has been a student pastor, associate pastor, elder, and Senior Pastor since December 2001.

He became the Senior Pastor of Cypress Lake Baptist Church on September 1, 2010. It is his desire that the church seeks, by the grace of God, to make disciples of all nations, through treasuring Christ above all things, for the glory of God at all times.
